Red Plate Marketing was founded by Becky Blackler, a creative marketing executive with over a decade of experience in building profitable and admired companies through artfully integrated marketing programs. Launching with one client in September 2009, Becky has built Red Plate into a trusted marketing resource for companies of all sizes and industries across New England. 

Becky founded Red Plate to serve as an outlet for two beliefs - one, that small businesses deserve the same level of attention,detail, and creative effort that larger companies do, and secondly, it is possible for work and life to balance and complement each other, not compete. 

Prior to Red Plate, Becky served as the sole marketing resource in a variety of organizations, including technology start-ups and professional services companies. Becky started her career at Voce Communications, a high-tech PR agency (recently purchased by Porter Novelli). Becky is also an active member of the Gotham 128 Networking Group (Gotham Networking, NYC), as well as has served as a Marketing Consultant for the acclaimed MassChallenge competition for entry finalists (2010).

Becky earned her Bachelor of Arts in PR/Advertising from The Pennsylvania State University. And of course, being from State College, PA, she is required by law to sing and clap along to the PSU Fight Song whenever she hears it. She currently lives in Taunton, MA, with her husband, two children, two cats, and one very lucky goldfish.

A driven marketing professional with over twenty year’s expertise in events planning, sales promotion, media relations, and project management — the last decade as a successful independent contractor.  Kristin has thrived in a variety of industries – technology, healthcare, finance, and telecom — with Client Communications always in the forefront!  Successful programs in her corner include professional development seminars, annual symposiums, monthly newsletters, golf tournaments and countless tradeshows.  She believes that details are pivotal to any event’s success.  Kristin is timely, budget conscious, extremely thorough and brings along an established, loyal network of vendors.  Her default settings — professional, respectful and enthusiastic. She is an active community member and believes attitude is everything!

Kristin has planted her roots in Foxboro, MA with her husband, Joe, two teenagers Jess & Katy, along with basketballs, lacrosse sticks and the occasional hydrangea in bloom.  

As a graduate of Emmanual College with a degree in English Communications and minor in Studio Art, Victoria first spent a few years working at small, academic textbook publishing companies in the Boston area, including A K Peters, Baseline Development Group, and Cheng & Tsui Company. While working full time as a production editor or coordinator at these companies, she also pursued freelance writing.  These projects included being the main content generator for 80108 Media's Steals and Deals channel, writing and editing the Boston page for TheDateVine.com, and writing for Hollywood East Connection.com. Since leaving her last in-office position, she has pursued freelance writing on a regular basis, as well as builds compelling content strategy programs for Red Plate clients. She regularly contributes to the South End News (both print and online), Beacon Hill Patch, CityRover Media, and Hollywood East Connection.com, also assisting on the social media aspects of many of these companies. You might also catch Victoria as she moonlights as a tour guide for Boston Chocolate Tours!
